As the first agency in Ukraine to bring home a Cannes Dolphin for documentary filmmaking, our “The Campaign Waiting to Happen” was a groundbreaking project. In collaboration with DART (State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine) , we highlighted the diverse beauty of Ukraine through a series of vibrant videos and engaging advertisements.

Our Chernobyl video, directed by Israeli filmmaker Sandro Zef, stood out among thousands of entries from advertising giants worldwide. This piece was unique not only in its somber portrayal of a site marked by tragedy but also in its international perspective, capturing the essence of a place where time stands still, symbolized by faded school notebooks and a date forever etched in history – April 26, 1986. The video was part of a planned campaign set for March 2023 but was paused due to the outbreak of war in Ukraine.

For the Carpathians, we crafted a narrative that competed with famous European destinations like the Alps or Tatra. We showcased the developed infrastructure, serene retreats, and quality family time opportunities available in the Carpathians, creating a character that embodied the joy and possibilities of the region. This campaign, too, was interrupted by the war, but our series of videos, including the Carpathian narrative, earned us a Cannes Dolphin amidst over 1000 global entries.

In our Kyiv video, we captured the emotions of a group of friends experiencing the city’s diverse culture, cuisine, and leisure activities over a weekend. This narrative aimed to showcase Kyiv as a dynamic and culturally rich destination, inviting viewers to explore its many facets.
Together, these videos – Chernobyl, Carpathians, and Kyiv – formed the “The Campaign Waiting for its Time.” This campaign, a celebration of Ukraine’s spirit and diversity, is poised to resonate globally, awaiting the right moment to reintroduce the world to the unparalleled beauty of Ukraine.

This videos was produced two months before the full scale russian invasion. 2022 was to be a year of recovery for the Ukrainian tourism industry. We planned to launch the promotional campaign focusing on Ukraine’s incredible diversity to encourage international tourists to visit.

February 2022, our plans, as well as the lives of all Ukrainians, were distorted by the aggressive acts of the russian army. But we remain strong and free. And just like our Victory, this is the Campaign Waiting to Happen.
